Towne Centre Living provides Assisted Living and Memory Care in Merrillville, IN. Our knowledgeable and courteous staff works with each of our residents to tailor healthcare plans for any level of need, with services such as special nutritional counseling, medication administration and management, incontinence care and escort and transfer assistance available. Additional housekeeping and laundry services, as well as assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, also can be obtained. Towne Centre Living promotes a continuum of care and has a full range of therapy services on site. Residents also have access to a variety of visiting doctors on sit to extend our offer of convenience and comfort at home philosophy. 

Towne Centre's vision is to provide the highest quality of Alzheimer/Dementia services by building relationships, trust, and giving each staff, resident, and family member a sense of belonging, as well as control of their care. A special feature of our Memory Care community is our life skill station which are small vignettes designed to help dementia residents spark old memories and create activities that encourage interest, movement, and interaction.

DINING

Residents at Towne Centre Living are treated to three restaurant-style meals served daily in our tastefully decorated dining rooms offering full breakfast, lunch and dinner specials or selections from our everyday menu to provide alternatives each day. The Centre offers residents a private dining area where they can hold special events or celebrate birthdays or anniversaries with family and friends.

ACTIVITY

Towne Centre Living celebrates its residents with special activities that bring our Merrillville, IN, Assisted Living community together. Weekly socials, a walking club, exercise programs and regular outings are among the many activities our residents can get involved in. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings via our newsletter. 

Our full-time Activities Director ensures there’s always a variety of activities and events going on. From exercise to parties, educations programs to games, you’ll find something to enjoy with friends and neighbors each day. Whether at the community or on-the-town, you’ll find it difficult to decide what to do next!
